NCL focused on demonstrating by example how a commercial venture can grow, with its success dependent entirely on the venture's contribution and support towards social causes. In essence, NCL is a humanitarian specialised commercial company, which works with governments in Africa and other multinational profit/non-profit organisations, to bring investment and partnerships for humanitarian projects and sustainable development programs.
The idea that a commercial venture can build its own profit centre while also directly solving social and economic problems is a concept that is causing an exciting stir among political and business leaders, since it is the proof that a simple paradigm shift is all that is needed to bring about positive results
NCL achieves its mission by combining the tools and strategies of business entrepreneurship with the mission and values of non-profit entrepreneurship to support the development of enterprises in emerging democracies in Africa
International
HEART Int'l is a charitable company created and sponsored by NCL - HEART (Harmonizing and Empowering Africa to Regenerate Together) HEART's remit is to bring together hearts and minds, creating strategic partnership that will allow economic and social goals to be achieved within African countries.
As part of NCL's policy of developing commercial ventures by supporting humanitarian causes, NCL will lead the way and exemplify the nature of contributing financially towards social causes directly from trading profits. HEART Int'l will receive ongoing funds from NCL to support three programs within Africa:
- An urban development program whereby financial aid and partnerships will be offered to existing humanitarian agencies within African towns and cities.
- A rural development program whereby HEART will actively help deprived and forgotten communities, by setting up support centres housing health and educational facilities to enable rural communities to create a better existence for themselves.
- Building Regeneration Centre to promote Capacity Building and Gender Equality to enable regeneration in Africa where all parties benefit from the Synergy of cooperation and empowerment for its people.
HEART is now working jointly with World Vision to deliver projects in DRC
